The nature of rugby in the modern world is of a more business like approach, requiring time to be taken to ensure that it can function at its highest potential. Having said this, the club is run by many committed unpaid members and volunteers whose only interest is to see the club prosper.
This cannot be achieved without incurring costs and in order to meet these expenses we are constantly seeking sponsorship from a range of organisations and companies like you. Who are able to recognise the efforts that a club has to make in order to contribute to the life of the local community. The club itself was founded in 1927 based then as it is now on the Holt House Grounds. The club offers local businesses an ideal marketing channel in which to offer their services and as many of the match fixtures are based within Lancashire, Yorkshire and Cheshire the advertising potential is unlimited. We therefore feel that Colne & Nelson offer considerable merits for your marketing plans.
